EASING the HIGH SCHOOL to COLLEGE TRANSITION

Focus on Writing

The workshop is being held at Rhode Island College, under the auspices of

the Rhode Island Writing Project.

Saturday, April 27, 2019, 9:00 to 12:00.

Alger Hall, Room 110

The New England Association of Teachers of English invites you to a workshop to explore ways of helping students transition from high school to college writing.

Who should attend?

High school teachers

First-year writing instructors

Others interested/invested in youth writing

Workshop format includes

a panel of first-year college students sharing their experiences of college writing;

small group discussion growing out of the student panel experiences;

discussion of other topics and sharing classroom materials.

Registration, Coffee, Tea, etc., begins at 8:30.

Registration:  $15.00, payable through PayPal.  Click the below button to register.

Cancellations received by Friday, April 19, receive registration refund.

No refunds for cancellations after April 19.
