NEATE (New England Association of Teachers of English) Leaflet Editor
NEATE is one of the oldest professional organizations in the United States. It was founded in 1901 to be of service to teachers of English throughout the New England states.
Qualifications: Candidate should have a writing background, a love of good writing, some publication experience, and an interest in becoming involved with NEATE and be a member or willing to be a member of NEATE.
Duties: As Leaflet Editor you will be responsible for the publication of 3 or 4 Leaflets yearly. You will work with the Publications Chair and the Editorial Board. The Leaflet has published articles by many prominent authors, including Robert Frost, e.e. cummings, T. S. Eliot, I. A. Richards, Louise M. Rosenblatt, and Donald Murray. It is subscribed to by colleges and is considered to be a prestigious publication. Become its editor and continue this tradition.
